home is where the heart is, NOT! for home is hell.. everyday after a long day at work, i hope to come home to some peace and quiet where i can sleep soundly and not be interrupted while im deep in lala land.. but no.. that doesnt happen in my house.. often, when i enter my house im greeted by shouting and screaming then is not targetted at me till she sees that im home and then like an alarm she goes on and on and on at me, nv ending.. wad did i do to deserve that i dunno.. save me from hell someone!

you make me hate you.. i hate coming home.. i was in such a good mood today cuz of my results and cuz of some stuff that happened at work.. but no.. you just had to destroy my happiness the moment i stepped into a hell hole called home.. and out goes my happiness and my wanting to share the good news.. thanx.. just thanx.. my wanting to share my happiness of getting a distinction for one of modules just flew out the window and crushed into a million pieces.. yes.. a distinction! finally.. a well deserved distinction for an unexpected module.. my first ever distinction in poly.. thanx.. so much for the -pat in the back-, "wow.. well done!" that i was looking forward to.. so much for all that hope i had in me.. and now im sitting here blogging out all this hoping you wouldnt barge into my room and see me crying.. wadever i do will nv seem right and good for you.. you will nv see me the way others see me.. cuz in your eyes you only have him.. him who makes the most mistakes yet you dun hate him the way you do to me.. the way you are proud of big bro, you will nv be like that to me, cuz im nothing to you.. wad am i hoping for?? to be treated better perhaps.. yet, among all of us, i can say that i treat you the best.. happiness in our family is short lived.. extremely short lived..

past few days of work have been good.. except the fact that there are really irritating patients who finally get discharged and come back again just to torture nurses.. and one stupid SIP student(medical student) with the bloody irritating power ranger ringtone who tell me to take the wrong thing make me look stupid infront of the doctor.. and plus he din even own up that its his fault! urgh!!

today was pretty good.. tot it was going to be a bad day cuz of the witch.. but witch was nice today.. must the raya holiday make her mood better.. sadly, one of my long term pt is off for hospice care so he went back today.. im going to miss feeding him.. haha.. poor thing annie wasnt there to sae bye to him cuz she is sooo gonna miss him too.. one of my pt hates my en.. this is how the convo went:

results day today.. me kin and shuya were like waiting patiently for school to send us our results via sms at 8am.. but i bet got traffic jam cuz they have to send like so many students cuz the whole SHS gets the results today.. by 9++ we couldnt take it already.. so we used ward computer(obviously when its not that busy and with the permission of the staff) to check our results! was scanning through for any Fs.. but none.. my eyes stopped at "DIST" and i was like "huh...." and i dun believe yet so i scrolled down the see the abbrievation.. "distinction" woahhhhh!! i was on cloud nine or maybe even higher! hehe.. my first ever distinction.. for nursing lab(aka skills) module.. the module that my non-nursing frens noes how much i stressed over cuz if fail cant go for attachment.. i was truly amazed cuz i nv expect it at all considering the fact that for my theory paper saq it was like cut and paste and vomit out one.. so yay! well done rosh! and i passed all my modules.. mostly Cs and C+ with one B+ for fyp and one D+ for AN5.. heck to AN5 man! haha.. only shitty thing is C+ for previous attachment.. all thanx to my stupid CI who obly appeared for like 2-3 times for that 15 days.. and she gave me a C+! wth! seriously.. how can you judge a student's skill when you only see the student for 3 days???!! rarr.. so despite my distinction, my gpa only increased my 0.08 cuz of all my Cs.. haiz.. nvm.. at least it did go up and that distinction makes my transcript look so nice! hahah.. and well done to all my frens who passed and did well too!!! =DD

may chia(tcher as we call her) is damn nice! she gave us a sticker for our learning guide book.. i wanted to ambulance sticker but dun have.. haha.. kin has one of it.. dunno who take the other one.. so i took the first aid kit one.. hehe.. and end up everyone changed to morning shift on our last day thanx to her and sister tan! yay-ness!! tcher scared me last friday.. she was like" so roshini.. how are you today.." but got black face.. then she was like "but.. your behaviour is very bad today.." and i was shocked and was trying to rack through my brain to think wad had i done.. and she was like -whips out a photo of her doggie- "you see.." and thats when i rmb.. i totally forgot to bring duchess pics to show her.. haha.. she wanted to share doggie pics with me and kin.. haha.. yes i noe! my tcher very high! hahah.. so end up i showed her pics of duchess i have in my hp cuz i forgot to bring pics.. hahaha.. scare me man.. tot i do something wrong.. haha..

cant wait for attachments to be over and hols to be here.. i so dun want to stay at home man..

One more week to end of attachments means holidays are just getting that wee bit closer! yay!

attachments have ok so far except for the witch and some really shitass patients who are out there to suck ur life! for god's sake, dun keep asking for milo and biscuits every 2 hours and then complain that your hypocount is 19.9! you have urself to blame! god! sometimes i dunno if im suited for this profession.. sometimes i really feel like crap at the way patients treat nurses! i freaking hate patients who treat you as if you are their personal nurse! hello mr! sometimes im not up to decide.. if the hospital set that 2 visitor rule, you jolly well stick to it.. dun bullshit that got one old lady waiting below to visit you.. if she is really that old and frail then ask her dun come to the hospital.. wait till you are discharged then visit you at home! gosh.. urgh!! and i feel like killing the inventor of callbells! im not even a full fledged nure yet and im feeling all this.. crap man.. wad am i going to do for the next 3 years??

anyways, tuesday went to find sher for dinner.. haha..

wednesday, ate dessert after work with kin.. yummy!! we should go there again! hehe!

today which is saturday, met sher, yw, yc for dinner at imm and shopped at daiso for stuff.. then headed back to ivory heights to play table tennis! muahahaha!! one word: HILARIOUS! hahaha crazy time laughing.. yc was like fed up and damn bored cuz all we did was pick balls! hahahaha.. so after a whole load of crapping we sat down at the table and chatted till weiwei came back.. then we chatted till time for my last bus.. walked to the bus stop with yw cuz sher's dad was fetching her.. yc joined back soon after cuz the guys were going for supper and they waited with me till my bus come.. but sher called to sae that her dad was sending me home.. hehe.. thanx uncle! and while waiting the guys drove me nuts with all their nonsense! roughly it revolved around them being my guards(for that one night only can!) and about some parental stuff!! hahaha.. couldnt stop laughing cuz it was so hilarious!! gosh.. yw and yc=nonsense!! wanted to tell sher but her dad was in the car so not convenient! should tell her tmr! hahaha.. thinking about it now still makes me want to laugh man!

alrights! shall blog while waiting for dinner to be done!

2 weeks of attachment is over.. left 2 more weeks! i can survive! my ahpek patients are very cute except for some irritating ones who just get on ur nerves by giving you trouble at the most inappropriate timings.. other than that its cool.. i OT-ed on friday! irritating! supp to end at 3 but i left only at 4 cuz i needed to do discharge for patient and the damned doctor took so long to do the hidc! had to call him like wad 4 times to get him to hurry come and do the hidc so that patient can go home!! and finally he sent his intern up to do not him! irritating doctor!!

so that caused me to be late for 4d mini gathering plus fe's advance b-dae celebration @ ion's watami restaurant.. supp to meet at 6.30 but i only reached ion at 7.. lucky still got caroline who was later then me so heng ah! haha.. she only reach at 7.30! there was only 8 of us(me, benny, fedora, kellie, belinda, bea ng, caroline and clarene[4b]).. had so much laughter and fun! joke of the day was benny.. there was this group of ppl sitting next to us but we couldnt see them cuz the chairs were high and we can only hear them.. then the guy said in chinese "i lost 10 kg in 3 months" and benny took a while to processand translate that in eng and when she finally realised wad he said she exclaimed out loud, "WAD??!! 10 kg in 3 months!! thats crazy man!!" and almost immediately we ALL burst into laughter cuz that was wayyyyy too late! super hilarious.. wad the girls din hear which i later them was that the guy responded back "i heard that!" muahahahahahah!! we almost died laughing.. and they were so irritated with us that they "shhhh"-ed us and even poped their head to see us.. stupid ppl.. the louder and talk and laugh the louder they were oso.. it was like a competition man.. but come on.. how can they beat a bunch of 8 convent girls man! hahaha.. damn hilarious.. bea when crazy and kept laughing super loudly! hahaha.. total craziness.. fe made her own birthday cake.. haha.. and i and bea were like "ehh.. that looks familiar!" hahaha.. cuz in sec4 she and her mum made the same cake for our class to thank us for caring for her when she broke her leg.. haha.. no wonder it looks so familiar! haha.. nice cake.. bel doesnt like cheese so she only ate the strawberry jelly part.. haha.. it was great to catch up with the girls and all that gossip.. haha.. must meet up soon again! half the girls including me went home while the rest went to chill at clarke quay.. the nite ended with a pretty saddening news and all im hoping for is that my fren is fine and well..

saturday.. slept in.. woke up at 12++.. stoned watched my drama, read my awesome book, slept again.. and repeated the pattern till about 6.. dragged myself outta bed to bath and meet sher and weiwei.. sher was 35 mins late.. haiz.. dinner was good.. headed back to wei's house for dessert! her mum is a great cook! hehe.. played piano.. i learnt a new song and hopefully i will remember! hahah.. then chilled and stoned and wei straightened my hair which didnt last very long.. yc finally booked out so he went home to wash up b4 coming down(literally.. cuz they live in the same block)to join us.. we ate mint ice cream cake and new york cheesecake that her mum made! nice-ness man! her mum is damn pro! haha.. then we chilled and stoned more.. away goes the sandfly rashes and in comes mosquito bite/hives like thingy for yc.. he is so prone to all these.. gosh..

around 10+, i didnt feel like going home.. wei suggested overnighting at her house and thats we did eventually! hahaha.. enping came over too at like 12.20AM(he lives in the same block too!)the guys were going crazy over soccer.. so we ended up heading to yc's plae to watch soccer.. after soccer, sher me and wei went back to wei's house to sleep.. haha.. did wei's nails while sher was doing her thing.. then they went to bed at 3.45 but i was watching drama! hahaha.. i only went to bed at 5.45AM! woke up at 7.50 cuz sher needed to go for church so i decided to leave oso since wei was going out soon as well.. haha.. went home.. bought breakfast.. ate breakfast.. watched a bit of drama.. read abit of my book and zonked out.. woke up at 1+ again.. the routine starts again.. drama, read book, lunch, drama, read book.. finally finished my book! my book is damn freaking awesome! super interesting.. its called "chasing daisy" by paige toon.. its about f1 racing and other stuff.. got me hooked! haha..

kin is taking driving lessons too!! yay!! hehe.. she called to ask me about it and fendy was like "oklah oklah.. finish already not.. dun disturb me and kinlai patoh!" can i faint! hahahaha.. kin, if you see this show or tell fendy..: too bad lor! kinlai prefers to talk to me instead of patoh-ing with you! muahahahah!

and i need to change my last day of work to morning shift cuz im having installation in the evening!!! marco, pls change with me!!! shuya oso needs to change to morning cuz her flight back home to china is at 7pm! gosh.. if no one can change and tcher allows us to just do morning on the last day will mean that there will be 5 ppl in the morning and only 2 in the afternoon.. should just tell tcher to change everyone to morning since its the last day and only got 7 of us.. haha..

HSE is over! 2 days of travelling around is over and im heading back to ward tmr! gosh.. hating ward seriously!! during my shift im the only student whereas marco gets 2 yr1s!! no fair! they should put one yr1 in my shift so that it evens out and i wun be so busy! rarr! heck!

bro went for his broken arm check up on friday.. his doc got so pissed cuz there was no fracture in the first place but the ED doc ordered a backslab for him.. apparently all he had was tissue perfusion(all that swelling).. stupid doc!

anyways.. saturday was a fun fun fun fun fun fun day! hehe.. went to ubin with the gang plus jeremy as farewell for ern! damn fun! hahaha.. met up 10++ headed to changi village for lunch cuz ern wanted his nasi lemak.. seriously the guys got damn alot of patience.. they queued for so long for their nasi lemak.. me and sher no patience so we bought other food.. haha..

then headed to ubin.. cycling was damn tiring.. nv cycle for super long.. last time i cycled was with wanyin b4 school even started i think so thats prob in march.. gosh.. my legs are all aching like crazy now.. the guys are all damn accident prone esp yc.. he fell on the obstacle thing and according to sher his fall was pretty scary.. got a cut on his right shin and was bleeding non-stop.. jeremy is a medic so we were trying to get the bleeding to stop and stuff.. then after that ern's left toenail flipped when he lost control of the paddle and his foot hit the tyre.. gosh!! and when we tot all was fine, jeremy fell from his bike.. good thing he wasnt injured thou.. faints man.. haha.. but it was still all fun and stuff.. all the adrenaline rush from coming down the steep slope and the crazy blue trail where you could hear sher's sudden scream! hahaha.. ohoh, and yc's tyre got punctured and he rode it all the way like that.. imagine the effort and strength to ride a punctured tyre bicycle.. haha.. funfunfun!

after that we went back to tampines mall to "wash up" and spam our deodorant and change our shirts cuz we stank so badly! haha.. and off to bugis for steamboat.. jeremy went off and yw joined.. steamboat was good and not bad.. yw left early cuz he wasnt feeling well.. should bring poly besties there one day.. haha.. then we stoned at starbucks till 11++ b4 heading home! glad every one had fun man esp ern cuz as wad sher said, its his day today! hehe..

sunday, supp to meet sher and gang but stupid small bro broke his arm AGAIN so had to accompany him and mum to the hospital.. damn stupid.. the next day then tell us when we found out that his arm swelled up! went to kkh.. xray done.. fracture at his elbow joint.. stupid fella.. was telling mum that maybe we can consider getting bro an amour for his birthday! seriously man! he just broke his right arm last year and he is still under rehab and physio for that arm and now he broke his left arm for the 2nd time.. mum even requested for the same doctor who treated his right arm to facilitate appts! -faints-

monday.. start of attachies.. damn sian.. i was so tired of doing NOTHING! seriously.. gosh..

tuesday.. not bad.. still quite boring but was entertained cuz the staff are quite nice and friendly.. after that rushed for driving lesson.. heh heh heh! driving was shiok.. only one screwed part was driving on the slope in the circuit.. i kept going backwards when i could actually go forward on the mainroad and the slope was even steeper man.. even the extra driving instructor who supervises the slope area was like "jiayou jiayou!" oh faints! so embarrassing.. then after like 5 tries me and my instructor realise the problem! i was starting off with 2nd gear when it should actually be the 1st gear! omg man!! felt like a freaking failure! gosh.. but ok lahx.. everything else was good! haha.. home after that.. din feel tired then but the moment i hit home my bed was calling me! hahaha

wednesday, work as usual.. today was good.. i did 2 wound dressings(damn simple wound dressing!) and served medications for 5 patients and also one mixtard! yay! shit thng was i dunno my drugs! lucky got my drug guide that mr neo gave us in yr1 but not very helpful cuz still dun have a couple of drugs..

one thing i hate like crazy is... there is just too many nurses living in my area! every morning when i head to the bus stop there is already like 8 SNs waiting for the bus plus a couple of NP students and theres me, and today got something new, got ite student! so like WTH! so many nurses in my area.. and sometimes when i go home i always see this SSN in my area oso! gosh.. im not complaining that my area got alot of nurses.. just that have to "fight" for the bus cuz everyone needs to get to work on time! not to mention all the crazy aunties who nudge you in the boobs or stomach so that they can get in front of you and snatch a seat.. once again i stood on the bus and i was falling asleep while standing.. when i woke up, i saw on SN staring at me.. hello, woman.. tired cannot isit! its freaking 6am man!

then on the way home another crazy thing happened.. i was sleeping in the bus.. as usual.. then got one guy sit beside me.. i cont sleeping.. then come near to far east, the guy got off and a woman wanetd to sit next to me but she noticed my uniform.. so she sat in such a way that only half her butt is on the seat! damn stupid man! seriously! and she was covering her nose and mouth.. HELLOO!!! just because i work in a hospital means im carrying germs around! i do take my precautionary measures and do my handwashing properly ok!!! and for the record, i dun have h1n1 nor do i work in a ward with contagious diseases! seriously! i tot the days of discriminating nurses were long over since the sars days.. and as usual, sgporeans nv learn.. if you are that paranoid, wear a mask.. or better still, dun go anywhere.. stay at home till you die! how about that.. stupid evil woman.. and the bus was filled with alot of SNs going home as well so the woman was like staring at every single one of us!! felt like hugging her and spreading all my potential germs to her.. thats it man.. she will freak out and really nv leave her house.. prob even admit herself at ttsh-cdc and nv leave that place at all! that will be the best!!
